The island has been home to the finest variety of grapes this region has to offer, but one challenge has remained: how to cultivate such richness and harmony and turn it into great wine. Hvar’s methods are tried and true. Wines from the island have become very competitive at wine fairs, winning First Place prizes and being counted as some of the best wines in the country.

In the wine cellar, as your guide entertains and educates you on the local wines, you will be able to taste the wines of your choice. Be forewarned: It’s easy to get lost in the lessons, to become immersed in the rich flavours of this palatable drink—especially these wines of Hvar, the noblest of all; so please, be prepared to thoroughly enjoy yourself and bring as much time with you as possible!
